Mountain View Environmental Services is a local company located in Washington County Vermont offering our services statewide. We serve a variety of client’s with various environmental concerns. While some matters are easily resolved simply by understanding and explaining the situation others matters may be more complex and require regulatory oversight and review.
MVES stays abreast of the state and federal regulations that impact our service lines. We have established long-term relationships with our clients and value their business needs providing them with sound scientific data and information that is technically defensible protecting their assets.
MVES was founded by John Diego who has been working in the environmental and contracting industry in Vermont for 35 years. John’s experience includes conducting air, water and soil investigations for numerous fortune 500 firms, several Superfund Sites, municipalities and many small to mid-sized businesses. John managed the remediation of the former Staco Thermometer Facility in Poultney, Vermont under the Redevelopment of Contaminated Properties Act, now known as the Brownfields Program. In the mid 1990’s John co-founded a consulting firm that offered the first Geoprobe and the first mobile laboratory in Vermont.
In 2005 John started Mountain View Contracting, LLC supporting small environmental projects that included oil tank removals, Geoprobe services and site remediation and restoration. In 2013 Mountain View Contracting, LLC expanded to include Mountain View Environmental Services offering a host of environmental services including radon measurement and mitigation.
